1. About us and these terms

The individual operator of FoldUStory operates FoldUStory at foldustory.com. In these terms, “we” refers to this individual service provider. Contact us at foldustory.support@gmail.com.

These terms cover our website, 3D editing tools, AI-assisted creation and digital downloads. Read them and our Privacy Policy before creating an account or buying. If you disagree, do not use those services. Account registration and purchases are for users aged 18 or over with capacity to enter a contract.

2. Our service

FoldUStory helps you choose paper mechanisms and templates, edit artwork, preview movement in 3D and, where available, download files to print and make. Purchases provide digital files or software access. Paper, printing, assembly and physical delivery are excluded unless expressly offered. Available file formats are shown for each template.

AI artwork does not validate a foldable structure. A 3D simulation cannot guarantee results with real paper thickness, cutting or glue. Print a test, check the instructions and then make your final piece. Use appropriate care with cutting tools.

Features marked as test, preview or in development are provided as described on their pages. Live checkout charges the amount displayed. Checkout explicitly marked as a sandbox does not charge real money; test credits, orders and export records are not live purchases.

3. Accounts and security

Use an accurate email address that you can access. Protect your email, third-party sign-in and session credentials. Do not share or resell accounts. Contact us promptly about suspicious access or unauthorized transactions.

Some projects and drafts are stored in your current browser. Signing in does not mean every project has a cloud backup. Keep copies of important project files. Clearing browser data, changing devices or using private browsing can remove local content.

4. Plans, credits and export rights

Prices, included credits, templates and export scope are stated on the plan page and at checkout when you buy. Current plans are one-time purchases without automatic renewal or top-ups. Applicable taxes and the final total appear at checkout. Price changes do not alter completed orders retroactively.

Credits cover the AI operations shown in the interface. Export rights cover delivery of new finished designs. They are separate. An identical, already authorized design can be downloaded again using its existing receipt. A new design or another template may need a new export right. Review the stated cost and access requirements before proceeding.

Welcome credits are granted once per verified account. Credits are service allowances, not money. They earn no interest and cannot be transferred between users or redeemed for cash, except where a refund is required by law. Current plans do not auto-top up credits.

The Creator Lifetime Maker Pass covers the core editor features and personal custom-export access listed when you buy, for the lifetime of the service. Maintenance and future updates to the core tools within that scope are included, without annual renewal. Included credits are a one-time total, not a recurring allowance. Future separately sold template packs, cloud Agent computing, link hosting and physical production or delivery are not automatically included. The service is currently online; standalone offline software is not provided. Normal personal creation has no hidden lifetime export quota. Automated bulk activity, account sharing or abuse may be paused for review.

5. Payments and delivery

Payments use Waffo Pancake’s hosted checkout and its payment providers. We receive details needed to reconcile orders, such as email, order reference, amount and payment status. We do not receive or store full card numbers or security codes. The seller of record and additional payment terms are identified at checkout, on receipts and by the payment provider.

Access is credited to the purchasing account after payment is verified on our server. A browser success redirect alone is not proof of payment. Check orders with the account used to buy. If access is missing, send support your order reference rather than paying repeatedly.

6. Refunds and billing issues

For duplicate charges, unauthorized transactions, missing paid access or failed file delivery, email foldustory.support@gmail.com with the order reference and a description. We will investigate and provide a correction, delivery or an applicable refund. Do not send full card details.

Refund eligibility is governed by the policy clearly displayed when you buy and applicable consumer law. These terms do not exclude statutory withdrawal, refund or dispute rights. Sandbox orders do not involve refunds of real funds.

A full refund reverses the credits and export access granted by that order. Partial refunds require access to be reconciled. Payment providers and banks determine settlement timing. Contacting us does not limit your legal right to raise a dispute with your bank or another authority.

7. Your materials and AI output

You retain the rights you lawfully hold in original photos, text and other inputs. Make sure you have permission to upload and use them, including necessary permission from people shown. A duly authorized adult must approve the use of a child’s photo.

You grant us a limited permission needed to deliver the service you request, including sending inputs to the selected AI provider, processing, previewing and preparing downloads. This does not grant us rights to publicly showcase or resell private projects, or train our own AI models on them. Third-party AI processing is described in our Privacy Policy and the provider’s own terms.

Protection and use rights for AI output depend on applicable law, input materials and third-party rights. We do not guarantee exclusivity, copyright protection or that an output will be unlike another work. Check likenesses, trademarks, text and structural fit before printing, sharing or otherwise using output.

8. Templates and open collaboration

Paid plans are intended for personal creation. Do not resell, mass-distribute or repackage platform template source files or paid download files. Your own materials, separately licensed assets and expressly open-source code remain subject to their respective rights and licenses. These terms do not reduce rights granted by an open-source license.

We support learning paper mechanisms through explanation, research and community contributions. Understanding or rebuilding a mechanism does not grant rights to copy an original work’s artwork, characters, text or layout. Respect other creators. Confirm publication scope and licensing before making a public contribution.

9. Acceptable use and AI content policy

Use the tools for lawful, authorized creation. The following are prohibited:

Our image-generation model is GPT Image, configured and called by the platform server. Users do not supply API keys, endpoints or model settings. We will update this page when other image models are enabled. AI generation uses platform credits; failed or safety-blocked jobs release their reserved credits.

Content checks run in the server-side API flow: prompts and reference images are checked before generation, and generated images are checked before display. Rejected requests, requests requiring review and unavailable checks are not passed through. Users cannot disable the checks. Necessary job identifiers, moderation decisions and handling records support troubleshooting, reports and appeals.

Report prohibited generations, impersonation or infringement to foldustory.support@gmail.com with the subject “Content report”. Include a URL, job or order reference, a description and evidence you may lawfully provide. For suspected child sexual exploitation, provide locating information without forwarding imagery. We assess the report, inspect accessible content and records, request clarification when needed and decide on appropriate action.

Confirmed violations may lead to warnings, rejected generation, feature restrictions, account suspension or termination, removal of platform-hosted content and revocation of promotional credits obtained through abuse. Purchased rights are handled under purchase terms and applicable law, not arbitrarily erased. Suspected illegal activity is handled as required by law. We cannot erase downloaded files remotely. Appeal to foldustory.support@gmail.com with the subject “Content appeal”, the original decision and your reasons.

• Pornography / NSFW: no sexual nudity, explicit sexual acts, sexual exploitation or other pornographic content.
• Violence / gore: no abuse, torture, dismemberment, graphic injury or encouragement of real-world violence. Friendly, non-graphic fantasy holiday characters are permitted.
• Hate speech: no hateful abuse, dehumanization, discrimination or incitement to violence based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability or similar identity traits.
• Child safety / CSAM: no sexualization, sexual exploitation, grooming or abuse of minors, including synthetic, illustrated or fictional depictions.
• Deepfakes / impersonation: no face swaps, nudification, fabricated intimate interactions, statements or actions involving real people, or deceptive identity misuse. Permission to use source material does not permit these uses. Do not upload another person’s photo or voice without explicit consent.
• Copyright / trademark infringement: no unauthorized copying of protected characters, artworks, brand marks or other third-party rights, including likeness and privacy rights.
• Stealing accounts, bypassing payment or security controls, attacking the service or causing excessive load through automation.
• Unauthorized account sharing, resale of service access or bulk abuse of free allowances.

10. Availability and responsibility

Networks, browsers, AI models and payment services may be interrupted. AI results and physical paper constructions may differ from previews. We will take reasonable steps to address faults, but cannot promise uninterrupted service, error-free output or suitability of every design for all paper and printers.

To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided as available. No disclaimer excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, statutory quality guarantees or consumer remedies.

11. Suspension, closure and updates

We may reasonably restrict affected activity for security incidents, suspected abuse, material breaches or legal requirements. You can request account closure by email. If a service change affects purchased access, we will explain the handling of undelivered benefits under the purchase terms and applicable law.

Updates will show a new version and date on this page. Material changes affecting purchased access or personal-data handling will be communicated through a website notice or account email, with any notice or consent required by law.

12. Disputes and contact

For service, order, refund, security or privacy questions, contact foldustory.support@gmail.com. Include an order reference for billing issues. Do not provide verification codes, passwords or full card details.

Disputes are subject to applicable law. Mandatory consumer protections available where you live remain applicable. If one provision cannot be enforced, other valid provisions continue to apply. Our Privacy Policy separately explains personal-data handling.
